High School -- Alyssa finished 7th at the CIF Southern Section Div. I Finals in the 1600m, as well as 8th in the 800m later that afternoon... At the South Coast League final, Brown set a personal best mark at 1600m, cracking the 5:00 minute barrier, running away with a title in 4:58.25 and new meet record. She then doubled back to win the 800m title... Her 1600m time ranked her 21st in the state of California... As a high school junior, she ran her lifetime best at 3200m with a time of 11:18.89 at the South Coast League finals.
