Another Harbor High standout (La. and Li. Christman, 2002), Anderson led the Pirates to their first ever Central Coast Section Cross Country title, as well as their first team State Championship Meet appearance. After finishing 9th at the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League finals she went into the Division III finals and took home a 3rd place finish behind future Gaucho teammate, Katie Voigtlander. Her finish put Harbor just ahead of St. Francis H.S. for the title. During the '06 Track campaign she set a personal best 5:14.48 in the 1600m at the SCCAL League Finals.
