We knew that Fresno State had good defense and we were expecting that so we didn't get too frustrated when they were digging a lot of balls, they played really hard. -UCSB senior, outside hitter/ middle blocker Danielle Bauer-
This was an unbelievable tenacious Fresno State team that we played against and I want to give them a lot of credit because there was no giving up in Fresno at all and they pushed us to the limit. We were matched equally in defensive pursuit and attitude -UCSB head coach Kathy Gregory

It is nice to win 700 with the magnitude being if you don't win the season is over but all of the credit goes to the players, I would have never reached this, this season without the tremendous effort of what they have done to make this season successful. -UCSB Head coach Kathy Gregory-

It was very fun to come back after thanksgiving and still be playing and know that we have something to prepare for to know that there is only 64 teams that got to come back and do this and be a threat to Santa Barbara.
