2007 Outlook
Had a very good spring season and is completely recovered from her knee injury (sustained while at the University of Miami). She can be a very physically dominant player with her jumping ability and is expected to contribute offensively on both the left and right sides.
2006
Played in 10 matches during her freshman campaign...Tallied a career-best four kills and hit .444 in her first collegiate match against Xavier (Sept. 9)...Collected a pair of solo blocks and a block assist vs. UC Irvine (Oct. 27).
Univ. of Miami
Injured her knee prior to the 2005 season at the University of Miami and missed her entire freshman campaign.
High School
Was an All-Prep League selection for four straight years at Flintridge Preparatory School from 2001-04...Named team MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior under head coach Sean Beattie...Earned Glendale News-Press Volleyball Player of the Year and Athlete of the Year honors in 2003...Also garnered All-CIF Southern Section Division IV Second Team recognition as a junior after setting a single-season area record with 544 kills...Captained the Rebels to the CIF Division IV quarterfinals her final two years...Ranked 78th by PrepVolleyball.com on its "Senior Aces" list for 2004...Also put together an impressive track and field resume in her four-year high school career...Won Prep League MVP honors her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons and is the reigning league record holder in 100 and 200-meter dash competition...Named Glendale News Press All-Area Track and Field Female Athlete of the Year in 2004...Member of the dean's list at Flintridge as well as the California Scholastic Federation.

Played for the San Gabriel Volleyball Club, a four-time Junior Olympic qualifier.

Lindsay Shay Fletcher came into this world on Feb. 9, 1987 in Los Angeles, Calif....The daughter of Yolanda Oliver and Barnett Fletcher, she is an only child...Andrew Oliver is her stepfather...Is majoring in psychology at UCSB and intends to become a therapist...Loves to spend time with her family...Considers Running With Scissors her favorite book and "Crazy/Beautiful" her favorite movie...Ben Harper is her favorite musician...Names her mother as her personal hero.
