2007 Season -- Was 8th at Conference in the shot put, competing against a field loaded with veteran talent. She was 2nd among freshman...Had her best performance of the year at the Cal-Nevada meet at Fresno State, where she threw a personal best 46'2.5" in the shot put. That mark stands as the 3rd-best in school history...Turned in a good performance of 44'11.75" at the Northridge Invitational...Was 4th at the All-Cal Challenge with a throw of 43'2.25"...Opened her collegiate career with a toss of 44'1.50", good for 3rd place against Westmont and LMU.
High School -- Competed in the Century League and was named All-League in 2005 and 2006... Played basketball in addition to running track, and was named Villa Park High School's athlete of the year in 2006.
Personal -- Is double-majoring in psychology and sociology, with a minor in education... Aspires to become an academic adviser/counselor at the university level... Her favorite movies are Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Sister Act II, and Remember the Titans.
