This tenacious and phenomenally athletic vaulter picked up a solid fourth
place finish at last year's conference championships, narrowly missing what
could have been her second consecutive all-conference accolade in the pole
vault. In 2005, she nabbed second place in the vault, with a huge jump of
11'-11.75", her personal best, and a near West Regional qualifier. This
year, Heidi looks to figure largely in the Gauchos' success as a major point
scorer, potential conference champion, and Regional qualifier.
2005 Track & Field Recap: Nyberg set personal bests throughout the year, culminating in a great Big West Championship vault in which she went 11'11.75" and a 2nd place finish for her first All-Conference accolades.
2004 Track & Field Recap: Heidi matched her High School best by vaulting 10'6", the # 6 all-time Gaucho vault, while also qualifying for the Big West Championships.
