In her freshman season, Ajoku qualified for Conference in the high jump. She tied for sixth place by clearing 5'3" (1.60m)...Took fourth in the high jump at the Big West Challenge Cup with the same mark...Her top mark in the long jump was 17'8" (5.38m), set at the Azusa Pacific Invitational...Top mark in the triple jump was 36'5" (11.10m) at the dual meet against Cal Poly.
High School
Mt. Hamilton division champion in the high jump in 2007...Also tied for fourth in the Central Coast Section championships...Was MVP and team captain of Santa Teresa's track team in her junior and senior seasons...Holds the school record in the high jump at 5'4".
Personal
Ajoku's parents were born in Nigeria and came to America in their early twenties for a better education...She is the second child of three girls...Majoring in biology and hopes to become a pediatrician...Is an avid sports fan who likes to watch football, basketball, and soccer...Her favorite movies include Dreamgirls and The Original Kings of Comedy...Sings in a church gospel choir.
