FRESNO, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara women's tennis team fell to No. 13 Fresno State 6-1 Wednesday at the Wathen Tennis Center. The Gauchos began the day with three doubles losses, giving Fresno the doubles point. Leslie Damion defeated Fresno State's Vlatka Jovanovic 5-7, 7-5 (10-5) at No. 4 singles, scoring UCSB's only singles point.

The Gauchos meet Kansas State Thursday in Fresno, Calif., before returning to Santa Barbara Saturday to host Sacramento State. Saturday's match kicks off a four-match homestand.
