LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The UC Santa Barbara women's tennis team used a dominating doubles performance and a sweep in completed singles to post a 4-0 shutout of Norther Arizona in the Consolation Final at the Lady Rebels' Clssic on Sunday.

The Gauchos earned the doubles point by winning all three doubles matches. At No. 1, Marielle Gruenig and Chelsea Glynn, who had played No. 2 the previous day, topped Paij Porter and Katie Schurr, 8-2. At No. 2, Charlotte Scatliffe and Andrea Pintar obliterated Stacey Pinchbeck and Julie Schmandt, 8-1. At No. 3 doubles, Lslie Damion and Mio Fukushima topped Susan McClleland and Georgie Mills, 8-6.

In singles, only three matches were completed. At No. 1, Gruenig defeated McClleland by a commanding 6-1, 6-1 score. At No. 2, Glynn wiped-out Schmandt 6-2, 6-1. Finally, at No. 3 singles, Pintar clubbed her Lumberjack counterpart, Katie Schurr, by a 6-0, 6-1 count.

The victory improves UCSB's record to 6-4 on the year. The Gauchos will host Southeast Louisiana on Wednesday, Mar. 1, at 1:30 p.m. at the Robertson Gymnasium Courts
