SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Junior Alissa Hollowell received the Jean Hodgkin's Memorial Award at a luncheon on Tuesday May 23, 2006 at the UCSB Women's Center.

Hollowell has been a conference finalist for the past three years for the Gauchos and is very involved on campus with organizations such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Resident Assistant for Tropicana Dorms and has volunteered her time at the UCSB freshmen summer orientation. Next year she will be one of four returning senior women and will be looked upon to continue her leadership on the team.

Head Coach Gregg Wilson received an award on Tuesday May 30, 2006 at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table as College Coach of the Year. The Hall of Fame banquet was held at the Double Tree Hotel in Santa Barbara and it honored various athletic honorees.
