Will be the starting catcher for the Gauchos if she remains healthy and may see action at third base, as well.
2005
After hitting the ground running as a freshman, she missed much of the 2005 season recovering from injury...Appeared in 21 games and started all but one...Was third on the squad with a .987 fielding percentage...Led Gaucho catchers and was second on the team with 133 putouts...Recorded a season-high three sacrifices at Fresno State March 11...Went 1-for-3 with a run scored March 19 against Oregon...Four days later she went 2-for-4 with a run at Loyola Marymount.
2004
Appeared in 61 of 63 games for UCSB as a freshman, starting all but one...Was eighth in the Big West with 177 at bats...Finished the season with a batting average of .269, which was third on the Gauchos and highest among newcomers...Was third on the team in hits with 49, runs scored with 25 and RBI with 18...She finished second with eight doubles and tied for the team lead in triples with two...Was successful in eight out of nine stolen base attempts and recorded a .990 fielding percentage behind the plate and in the infield...Had a six game hitting streak from April 10 to April 21 in which she had a total of 10 hits, four RBI and six runs scored...She went 4-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI against Cal State Fullerton May 15...Her 4 hits tied a season-high...Awarded Honorable Mention All-Big West honors.
High School
Graduated from Trabuco Hills High School in 2003...Four-time All-South Coast League selection and two-time All-Conference selection under coach Roger Williams...Playing both third base and catcher, she was named All-CIF as a freshman and junior...Twice named to the all-tournament team at the Brea Olinda Tourney...Also played volleyball for the Mustangs..
