2008: Started 19 games and made 24 appearances during her sophomore campaign...Posted an 11-7 overall record with a 3.80 ERA and collected a 3-2 mark in Big West play...Her total wins were tied for eighth - with teammate Tami Weston - among Big West pitchers...She ranked seventh in conference for fewest hits allowed (117) and ninth for fewest runs (69)...Led the team with 87 strikeouts and three shutouts...First shutout was a 5-0 win over Indiana (Feb. 16) in which she just allowed two hits and posted a season-high eight strikeouts...Posted a 3-0 shutout over St. John's (Feb. 23) and a 7-0 shutout against Cal State Bakersfield (Mar. 26)...Tied her season-high of eight K's in contest against then-ranked No. 1 UCLA (Mar. 25)...Had a team-low opponent's batting average of .258.
2007: Started nine games and made 10 appearances in her first year as a Gaucho, recording a 5-1 record...Posted a 3.95 ERA in 44.1 innings of work...Helped UCSB to an 8-6 win over No. 23 Massachusetts in her first collegiate appearance on Feb. 9...Pitched the lone no-hitter of the season in a five-inning mercy win over Northern Colorado (Feb. 17)...Posted back-to-back 4-0 wins over Santa Clara (Feb. 25) and Utah Valley State (Mar. 3)...Fanned 24 batters and had an opponent batting average of .238.
HIGH SCHOOL
Pitched at El Toro High School under the tutelage of coach Jim Daugherty...In 2005 and 2006, she captured First Team All-South Coast League, First Team All-County, and First Team All-Division honors...Was named to the first team at the Michelle Carew Classic Tournament for leading her team to a third place finish and earned MVP honors at the Woodbridge Tournament after the Chargers finished first...Recipient of the Charger Excellence Award...Was named El Toro's Female Athlete of the Year in 2005 and 2006...Led her team to the South Coast League Championship...Helped her team to a fourth place finish at the Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Ariz...The Chargers finished her senior season ranked first in Orange County, second in California, and eighth in the nation...Also competed in volleyball.
