Emilee Schwimmer and the UC Santa Barbara women's soccer team will play UC Riverside in the first round of the 2003 Big West Tournament.  The Gauchos are the number two seed.  The league tournament, which will be held on Friday and Sunday, was moved from Cal State Fullerton to UC Irvine.

Big West Women's Soccer Tournament Moved to UC Irvine

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The 2003 Big West Women's Soccer Tournament has been moved from Cal State Fullerton to UC Irvine because of poor field conditions at Titans Field, the league has announced.

The dates and times of the tournament will remain unchanged. The first semifinal match, between top-seeded Cal Poly and fourth-seeded UC Irvine will kickoff at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. UCSB, the second-seed in the tourney, will play third-seeded UC Riverside at 7:30 p.m.

Winners of the first round matches will play at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Ticket prices for the tournent are $12.00 for adult single-session, $7.00 for studdent, youth and senior citizen single-session. All-Tournament passes are available for $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for students, youth and senior citizens. Tickets are available at the facility.
