Irvine, Calif. - Freshman forward Jen Borcich was named Big West Player of the Week after her performances in UCSB road wins over UC Irvine, and Long Beach State.

In Friday's 4-0 win at UC Irvine, Borcich scored the Gauchos first goal, and assisted on another. On Sunday, in a 3-1 victory over Long Beach State, Borcich played a part in every goal. She scored the first one, assisted on the second, and scored the third.

On the season, Borcich leads UCSB in goals (nine), assists (seven), and points (25).
