Santa Barbara, Calif. - Paul Stumpf's 2006 recruiting class, led by four Southern California Olympic Development players, received national recognition this week from the authority on women's soccer.

Soccer Buzz magazine ranked the Gauchos' recruiting class No. 45 in the nation, the second highest ranking issued to a Big West school. Long Beach State received a No. 39 ranking.

Central midfielders Erin Doherty (Lakewood, Calif./Wilson HS/Arsenal) and Sarah Stoltz (Ojai, Calif./Nordhoff HS/Camarillo Eagles), central defender Alexandra Eaton (Monrovia, Calif./Arcadia HS/Southern California Blues) and goalkeeper Tammy Lenham (Hermosa Beach, Calif./Mira Costa HS/Newport Bach Slammers) are all Southern California ODP members. The quartet of ODP players are joined in the recruiting class by Kaylyn Woolsey (Trabuco Canyon, Calif./Trabuco Hills HS/Irvine Strikers), another central midfielder.
