Myrick attended Esperanza High School where she played for John King...Played primarily central defender at Esperanza...Played her freshman and junior seasons, but missed her sophomore and junior campaigns with knee injuries...Despite the knee injury her senior season, she was a team captain and the program's Most Inspiratitonal Player...In 2006, her junior season, Myrick a Second Team All-CIF Southern Section choice, a Second Team All-Orange County selection and a First Team All-Sunset League choice...In 2006, she was awarded the Sunset League Defensive Player of the Year honor...In 2006, Esperanza won the Sunset League...In 2004 and 2007, the team advanced to the CIF Division I semifinals...On the club level, Myrick played for Cypress Elite Futbol Club and she was coached by David Sabet....In 2004, her team won the CSL Gold League under-15 championship and in 2005, it won the CSL League Cup under-16 title.
