Kugler played in all 22 games as a sophomore, making 13 starts...Building off a phenomenal 2007 season, Kugler impressed once again, netting seven goals with four assists, totaling 18 points...She started the season off strong with a goal and an assist in their first game at Nevada and had one of her most impressive games of the season after scoring a pair of goals in 4-2 win at Cal Poly.

Kailyn Kugler played in all 20 games, making 15 starts, and made the most of her playing time...She led the team in scoring, points, and shots...The newcomer was named Big West Freshman of the Year and landed on the Honorable Mention list...Kugler netted six goals, assited on two, for a team leading total of 14 points...Her best game of the year came in a 4-0 rout over UC Riverside, in which she notched two goals on two shots.

Kugler attended San Clemente High School...Played for Stacey Finnerty...A two-time First Team All-South Coast League choice...Following her senior season, Kugler was named Offensive MVP of the South Coast League after scoring 14 goals and 12 assists...Had 21 goals as a junior and 19 as a sophomore...In all, tallied 54 goals in her three years...Kugler helped San Clemente to league titles in 2005 and 2006...As a freshman, she was named Gatorade Rookie of the Year...Played for West Coast Futbol Club and was coached by Gus Castaneda...In 2007, her club was USL Super Y League National Champions, National Cal South Champions, CSL Premier League Champions and Blues Cup Champions...Kugler scored the winning goal in the Cal South title game in 2007.
