A season filled with injuries, obstacles and up and down results, came to an end for the Gaucho women's gymnastics team, unfortunately with disappointing results. The team failed to make the team finals Saturday night, with a disappointing showing on Thursday evening. Santa Barbara posted their third highest team score of the year at 186.500, but it was not nearly enough as they finished eighth, four spots away from the finals.

Sophomore Lesley Ross again led UCSB, as she was the only Gaucho to reach an event final. Competing on the balance beam Saturday night, Ross scored 9.675, which landed her in fourth place overall. Ross, competed in the individual all-around Thursday night, again leading the way for Santa Barbara, with a 10th place finish and a score of 38.400.

MPSF Gymnast of the Year, Ryannne Strohm finished out the season with an impressive floor routine, scoring 9.825 and just missing the event finals by a few hundredths of a point. Strohm also posted a solid score in the all-around, at 37.150, tying her for 20th in the event.

Senior Jen Rudy closed out her Gaucho career, where she began it on the balance beam, scoring 9.450. Junior Talia Gamm also competed in the all-around posting a score of 36.475, which was third best among UCSB gymnasts.
