SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara women's basketball team, winner of nine consecutive Big West Conference titles, will host its third-annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 20 at the Montecito Country Club.

This special event will begin with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, and is open to golfers of all abilities but limited to a field of 124 participants. There are a number of different sponsorship opportunities which will directly benefit the Gaucho program, but all entry donations include green fees, cart rental, tee prizes and a post-tournament Santa Maria-style BBQ dinner and awards ceremony.

In addition to the four-person scramble format tournament, there will be men's and women's longest drive and closest-to-the-pin competitions, special skills contests administered by UCSB women's basketball personnel and a silent auction and raffle.
