Buried eight of final 16 shots (50%), including back-to-back three-pointers vs. Cal State Northridge that brought Thunderdome crowd to its feet...Enjoyed greatest success against conference foe UC Irvine, averaging 7.5 points and 6.0 rebounds...Eight-for-eight effort from the charity stripe vs. UCI on March 3 equaled the most freebies made by any Gaucho in a single contest as well as the highest single-game percentage, and accounted for her career-high point total...Free-throw percentage of 75.0% was second-best on the team, while 24 of her 52 total points came from the charity stripe...Conference scoring average of 3.8 was over one-better than her season-long mark.

Brittanie Doreen Taylor-James was born on May 17, 1986 in Evanston, IL...The daughter of Elyssa Taylor and Collin James, she is an only child...Will likely major in mechanical engineering with a minor in black studies...Would like to work as an engineer for a major corporation after finishing a successful pro hoops career...Cheers on the Houston Comets and their star Cheryl Swoops...At age 10, won a three-point contest and was rewarded with the opportunity to sit in Michael Jordan's luxury box during a Chicago Bulls' game...That was her most memorable sports moment...In her spare time enjoys traveling, dancing, shopping and reading the Bible...Another favorite book is "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" by Maya Angelou...Relaxes by watching "Girlfriends" and "Newlyweds" on TV.
