The Gaucho Record
With two losses last weekend to No. 9 Long Beach State and second-ranked Stanford, the Gauchos fall to 17-8 overall and 2-3 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play entering this weekend. Last weekend was a tough one for UC Santa Barbara, losing a nail-biter to Long Beach on Saturday 12-11 in sudden-death overtime and dropping Sunday's match to Stanford 10-5.

Goal-Scoring Machine
With two more goals against Long Beach State on Saturday and one against Stanford on Sunday, senior Brian Alexander has increased his team-high goal scoring mark to 51 goals. In addition, Alexander has now extended his consecutive goal-scoring streak to 14 matches.

Scouting UCLA

Top-ranked UCLA enters the match this weekend with an 18-2 record overall, 5-2 in MPSF. The Bruins are riding their longest winning streak (13 matches) in eight years. UCLA is led by Brett Orrnsby who has scored a team high 51 goals in UCLA's 20 matches played.

Scouting UC Irvine

No. 5 Irvine enters the weekend toting a 13-8 overall record, and a record of 3-2 in the MPSF. The Anteaters are coming off two victories over No. 3 USC and No. 8 UC San Diego last weekend. Dreason Barry leads the Anteater offense with 50 goals on the season.
