Senior Adam Ulfers had 19 kills and hit .552 to lead the UCSB men's volleyball team to a 3-2 upset victory over BYU in the first round of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament in Provo, Utah, on Saturday. The win over defending national champion BYU earned the sixth-seeded Gauchos an MPSF Semifinal showdown with No. 5 Long Beach State on Thursday.
