A 2006 graduate of Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, Calif....Played middle blocker for four years under head coach Steve Conti...Captained the Sea Kings as a senior...Named the Pacific Coast League and Orange County All-Star Game MVP in 2006...Selected First Team All-CIF and first team all-county in 2006...Also named the Newport Mesa School District Player of the Year as a senior...CDM won a CIF title in 2005...A 2005 All-Pacific Coast League honoree...Also played four years of basketball for CDM...Selected as a 2006 Newport Mesa Scholar-Athlete.
