Aaron Mansfield returns for a third season as an assistant coach with the men's volleyball program.
Following four years as a standout libero at UCSB, Mansfield joined head coach Ken Preston's squad in 2006 after serving as a volunteer assistant with the UCSB women's team in the fall of 2005.
A four-time All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation performer, Mansfield ranks as UCSB's all-time digs leader with exactly 1,000, which is over 200 more than the next-closest player.
During the summer of 2005, Mansfield attended USA Volleyball's team tryouts for the World University Games.
Mansfield, who graduated from UCSB in 2005 with a degree in cultural anthropology, gained previous coaching experience with Santa Barbara Volleyball Club's 18-and-under boys team.
