This strong and talented vaulter's fantastic season was disrupted by an
unfortunate nagging hamstring injury, which prevented him from realizing his
full potential at the Big West Conference Championships. With a personal
best height of 15'7", which was set early in the 2006 season, Eugene looks
to rank among the Conference's best vaulters, and pose a legitimate threat
at this year's West Regional Championships.
2005 Track & Field Recap: Red-shirted his third year for the Gauchos...2004 T&F: Set another personal best at the Big West Championsips vaulting a seasonal best 14'11" finishing 6th.
2003 Track & Field Recap: Tuzkov cleared a personal best 14' 7.25" to finish 11th at the Big West Championship.
High School Notes: Eugene finished 6th in the pole vault at CIF SS Div II finals with a HS best of 13"06".
