2007 Season -- Qualified for Conference in the 400m and finished 8th with a time of 48.07, a mark that stands as the 8th-fastest in school history...Anchored the 4x400m relay squad that achieved a podium finish at Conference...Took third place at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational with a solid time of 48.26...Finished 8th in the 400m at the Triton Invitational in a field that featured more than 60 runners.
2006 Season -- Was unable to compete due to a hamstring injury.
2005 Season -- Capped off a great freshman season by surprising many with a 3rd place All-Conference finish in the 400m at the Big West Championships. Also led off the winning Big West 4x400m Relay team, qualifying for NCAA Regionals. Won the 200m at the All-Cal Cup in early `05.
High School -- Max was the anchor leg of Canyon's 4x400m 4th place finish at the CA State Championships in 2004. In the Foothill League, Max also went undefeated in four events.
