2005-06: As a freshman, Max Taylor played almost exclusively singles...Went 16-18 overall and 12-14 in dual matches...His 34 singles matches were the most played by a Gaucho during the 2005-06 season and he was one of just two players, Bijan Hejazi being the other, to play singles in every dual match on the year...Taylor was 2-0 at No. 4, 1-7 at No. 5 and 9-7 at No. 6 singles.

Posted a record of 39-0 in his senior year at Bullard High School, earning the CIF Athlete of the Year honor...Won his league, the North Yosemite League, all four years...Played for Mark Weatherly.
