High School
Jack Hui attended the Diocesan Boy's School in Hong Kong.
Junior College
Hui arrives at UCSB after a very successful career at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif....As a sophomore in 2005-06, he won the 2006 California Community College singles title and placed second in doubles...He helped COD capture the state team title for the eighth time...Hui earned Community College All-American status in both singles and doubles...As a freshman in 2004-05, he posted a 32-2 record at No. 1 singles and again earned All-America honors...In 2004-05, Hui advanced to the men's semifinals of the California Community College State Championships and he was named the Foothill Schools Conference Player of the Year...In 2005, he also made the semifinals of the Community College Division at the Ojai Invitational.
Juniors
Hui achieved a career-high Junior World Singles Ranking of No. 130 in January of 2002 and a ranking of No. 57 in doubles in January of 2003...In Hong Kong, Hui received the top-ranking in the Boy's 18-under in 2000 and he hit a high of 10th in the men's rankings...Won titles in the Hyogo International Junior Tournament and the Vietnam International Junior Championships.

Jack Hui was born in Hong Kong...His mother is Letty Yau...He has one sister, Kita Hui...Majoring in business economics and hopes to become an accountant...Speaks both Chinese and English.
