The Gaucho men maintained their second place standing after day two of the conference meet. Myles Peck, Eric Koch, Garret Porteous, Jason Hardy, and Brent Nolan blew away competition in the 500 freestyle coming in first through fifth places respectively. Brendan Lee and Shuan Crossman finished strong in the 200 individual medley as did teammates Ryan Dingler and Scott Baer in the 50 freestyle. UC Santa Barbara men finished the day coming in first in the 400 medley relay well ahead of opponents UCI and UOP.

The team will resume day three of the Big West Conference Championships Friday, Feb. 20, at the Belmont Plaza in Long Beach, Calif. for another all day affair. The Championships run thru Saturday, Feb. 21.
