2007: Received Big West Freshman of the Year honors...Set new UCSB record in the 200 free (1:37.76) as member of Big West Champion 800 free relay team...Took second in the 100 free (44.70), third in the individual 200 free (1:39.37), and fifth in the 50 free (20.77) at the BWC Championships.

Competed for California High School under coach Josh Painter...A four-time all-league selection as well as an All-American...Also swam for San Ramon Valley Livermore Aquatics, coached by Richard Thornton...Holds records in 100 free and 50 free...Also played water polo for California High School.
