San Pedro Sula, Honduras - Quickly developing into one of Canada Soccer's young stars, UC Santa Barbara Freshman All-American Tyler Rosenlund set up the Canucks' game-winning goal against the host Honduras last night, sending Canada into this summer's World Youth Cup.

Two days after playing the full 90 in helping Canada's Under-20 National Team top Mexico 2-1 in the opening game of CONCACAF Group B qualifying, Rosenlund assisted on Ryan Gyaki's second half game-winner to down the host nation 1-0, securing the top spot in Group B and a berth in the WYC this summer in the Netherlands.

With one game remaining, tomorrow night against Jamaica, the Canadians are ensured at least a tie for the spot by virtue of their 2-0 record in Group B play. Canada joins the United States and Panama, who garnered the two spots from Group A two weeks ago, as one of the CONCACAF's four representative's in this summer's World Youth Cup. Both at 1-1 in Group B play, Mexico and Honduras meet following the Canada/Jamaica match to vie for the CONCACAF's final spot in this summer's tournament.

Rosenlund helped guide UCSB to its first ever NCAA College Cup, earning Freshman All-American (College Soccer News) and Second Team All-Big West Conference honors.
