UC SANTA BARBARA
2006: Appeared in 24 games during his first season with the Gauchos...By far one of UCSB's most productive freshmen, he started 18 games -- more than any other newcomer...Earned his first career start against Virginia in Santa Babrara's second match of the season...Started and played siginificant minutes in nine of the Gauchos' last 11 contests, including five of the NCAA Tournament matches...His first career goal proved to be as important as any other during UCSB's title run, netting the game-winner in the 3-1 win over top-ranked and No. 3 seed SMU (11/15)...He headed in a loose ball in the box following a corner kick in the 44th minute to give Santa Barbara the lead for good...Played a ball up to Andy Iro who found fellow freshman Bongomin Otii streaking in the box for the game's only goal and his first career assist in the 1-0 win over San Diego State (9/2)...Recorded 21 shots, the second-most amongst newcomers.
CLUB
Played with the nationally-recognized Irvine Strikers Soccer Club (ISC) of the Coast Soccer Premier League...A starting forward in 2005, he helped guide the team to the first perfect season in the history of U-19 Premier League play...Led the Strikers to victory in the finals of the Cal-South State Championships in the National Cup against PSG in 2003...ISC went on to win the Western Regional Championship and take third in the national finals that year before winning the Cal-South State title again in 2004...The Strikers were also two-time Surf Cup Champions and Nike USA Champions while Walker was a member of the team.
