2008: Medical Redshirt. 2007: Saw time in 15 matches in his sophomore year in the blue and gold, making a total of four starts...Played significant minutes in UCSB's NCAA Tournament match-up with Ohio State (12/2)...Earned the first starting nod of his career against UC Irvine (10/25) and helped the Gauchos blank the Anteaters...Registered his first career shot against Columbia (9/21)...Santa Barbara went 3-1 in games he started. 2006: Made an appearance in three games as a freshman, including Gaucho victories over San Diego State (9/2), Cal State Fullerton (10/21), and Cal State Northridge (10/25).
NATIONAL/CLUB
Was a member of three squads during his club career, including the Kona Predators for seven years, the Hawai'i Volcanoes for three years, and the Mililani Strikers for three years...Under his guidance, the Volcanoes were the U-19 Nomads Champions in 2004-05...In 2003-04, he helped the Strikers claim the Hawai'i State Championship before the team finished second in 2004-05.
HIGH SCHOOL
As a freshman Cintas started as a defensive back on the Kealakehe varsity squad and was named to the Big Island Interscholastic Federation Second Team...Started as a central defender for Kealakehe the following year and helped guide the team to the BIIF Championship...Was nominated to the BIIF First Team and All-State Second Team after tallying five goals and eight assists as a sophomore...His junior year, he started as a central midfielder for Hawai'i Preparatory Academy and the led the Wind to a perfect 16-0 season and the BIIF title...Earned BIIF Second Team and All-State Honorable Mention honors after netting 11 goals and dishing out 15 assists...As a senior, Cintas earned BIIF and All-State First Team distinction after totaling 16 goals and 18 assists, helping H.P.A. finish in the top five in the state...Recognized as one of the top five players to play in the state tournament his senior year, he also was a four-year honor roll student and founded the H.P.A. Dormitory Recycling Club.
