Senior Brian Six shot a 214, including a second-round 69, to lead the UC Santa Barbara golf team to a solid ninth-place finish at the Ernst F. Lied Wolf Pack Classic in Reno.
In addition to Six, Greg Wells also finished among the top-25, shooting a 215 to finish 21st. Michael Feuerstein shot a 222, Sean Meier shot 225 and Leigh Silver shot 231 to round out UCSB's finishers.
The Gauchos return to action on October 20 when they travel to the Bill Cullum/Countrywide Intercollegiate at Wood Ranch Golf Course in Simi Valley, Calif.
