2007
Proved to be the Gauchos most reliable starter going 2-2 in 13 starts...His 13 starts were tied for first on the team...Freshman lead the team in innings pitched with 82...Strong right-hander stabilized the rotation with a 5.05 ERA good for third on the staff...First on the Gauchos and among all Big West freshman pitchers in strikeouts with 68...Sported a 68 to 34 strikeout to walk ratio. Struck out at least five batters on eight different occasions...Took the ball into the eigth inning four times...Had a career day against TCU on April 1 when he took a no-hitter into the 7th inning, finishing the game with one earned run on seven innnings pitched and three strikeouts...Against Cal State Northridge on March 11, Ford pitched eight innings, allowing only one earned run, while striking out five...Struck out a career-high 10 batters against Long Beach State on May 12...Struck out nine batters on April 28 against Cal State Northridge...Pitched into at least the sixth inning in five of his last six starts.
