JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

The University of California, Santa Barbara is seeking qualified applicants for Head Coach for Men's Volleyball.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, demonstrated leadership ability and successful coaching experience, ability to teach sound fundamentals of the game, ability to administer program within budgetary parameters, and recruit highly successful student athletes. Must have working knowledge of NCAA Constitution and Bylaws, and demonstrate effective communication with student athletes, parents, and administrators. Applicant must understand the role of intercollegiate athletics within the overall academic mission of the University and be committed to the academic endeavors of the student-athletes. NCAA Division 1 competitive experience preferred. The successful candidate required to organize and implement a disciplined, competitive NCAA Volleyball program abiding by NCAA and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation constitutions and bylaws, and UC Santa Barbara policies and procedures. Requires sound player/team management skills. Must be involved in fundraising and community outreach within the established guidelines of the NCAA, the University of California, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
